Dpressnall created the topic: Whether or not to write a bridge???
I went back to a song that I started a while back, and I am on the fence as to whether or not to try to write a bridge for it. Any comments or suggestions?

Fool I Am
©April 2014

(Verse 1)
There’s somethin’ about
The way she smiles
It just takes my breath away
An’ every time
That I hear her voice
I stumble for words to say

No, I never saw her
Comin’, when she
Stepped into my world
But, now that she has
Well, I can’t imagine
Life without that girl….

(Chorus)
Whether I’m fallin’ in love
Or fallin’ to pieces
I fall head over heels, over her
You’d think by now
That I’d learn my lesson
But I keep fallin’ for all its worth
With every fall
It takes all I have
Just to get back up and stand
But, here she comes
An’ like the fool I am
I’m fallin’ all over, again….

(Verse 2)
There’s times that it feels
As though her feelings
For me, are the same
But, then there are times
It feels as though
I’m in a losin’ game

Yeah, it’s probably best
If I could somehow
Make this old heart see
That this up and down
Merry go ‘round
Will sure be the death of me….

(Chorus)
Whether I’m fallin’ in love
Or fallin’ to pieces
I fall head over heels, over her
You’d think by now
That I’d learn my lesson
But I keep fallin’ for all its worth
I try to be strong
An’ tell myself
That I can settle for just friends
But, there she goes
An’ like the fool I am
I’m fallin’ all over, again….

(Final Chorus)
Yeah, with every fall
It takes all I have
Just to get back up and stand
But, here she comes
An’ like the fool I am
I’m fallin’ all over, again….

I love the lyrics :)
I don't think it needs a bridge. you could always put in an instrumental break if you need one.
